Worship with us

First Congregational Church has one worship service each Sunday morning at 10 am. Worship is held mid-May through mid-October in the large sanctuary built in 1834 facing Centre Street. Services are held in the smaller sanctuary, the Old North Vestry (c. 1725), located behind the large sanctuary the rest of the year. Special worship services are also held throughout the year, especially during the Christmas, Lent, and Easter seasons.

Jeff Cutts Music Ministry Nantucket

Music

Music plays an integral and spiritual role in our worship services and our congregational life.

Our Music Ministry led by Jeff Cutts presents special concerts year-round featuring a wide variety of musicians who live on Nantucket or visit the island to share their musical gifts.

Special concerts are traditionally held Memorial Day weekend, Rose Sunday in July, summer Sunday afternoons, and weekdays at noon during certain seasons of the year. FCC also hosts the Musical Arts Society's summer concert series in our Summer Church.

Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind…and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Sharing our Space
