YouthWelcome to FCC Youth Ministry!
Youth ministry at First Congregational Church, Nantucket, offers youth the opportunity to grow together in faith and do God’s work in our community and beyond. Because of the large number of youth involved in our programs in the past five years, and the different challenges at each age level, we now offer youth group for both middle and high school students on separate days and times. In the case of special events (such as mission projects or retreats), we come together as a whole group in fellowship.
5:30-9 pm Middle/High School Youth Group in the Fellowship Room of Bennett Hall (adjacent building to FCC). Grades 6-8 & 9-12.
Youth Group is organized and run by Chip Davis (see bio), and focuses on Bible-based lessons about today’s world through interactive media, games, and group challenges. FCC youth are also encouraged to do service for others through a variety of projects, volunteer opportunities, and fundraisers. Youth group is open to any youth who want to come with no requirement for membership. We meet youth where they are in their spiritual journey and encourage them to take the next step. Kids have a lot of fun in a safe place for students to hang out on any given Friday night.
